The UCM Winter Guard is a competitive program.  To be eligible for the winter guard program you must have been a member of the UCM Marching Mules the fall semester prior to seeking winter guard membership.  We have two competitive units, Andesine of Central Missouri (Independent A) and Obsidian of Central Missouri (Independent Open).

We compete locally through our winter guard circuit, Mid-Continent Color Guard Association (MCCGA).  This includes competitions near and around Kansas City, Springfield, and St. Louis.  We also compete regionally and nationally though Winter Guard Internationals (WGI).  The UCM Guard attends WGI Nationals in Dayton, OH yearly.  Feel free to look at our previous winter guard shows below!
