The Athletic Bands at the University of Central Missouri offer opportunities for both music majors and non-majors. The Marching Mules number over 150 each season. A Basketball Pep Band of 30 students is selected each fall from the Marching Mules. The Marching Mules are proud to perform regularly for the Fighting Mules Football team, Kansas City Chiefs, and to have hosted Music Bowl Missouri / Festival of Champions for 27 years.  The Festival of Champions is scheduled at UCM on October 18, 2008!
